Fukushi sensei made me feel better.
After the war, they had only pumpkin to eat.
Three girls filled their brightly colored rubber boots with cold water today and sloshed happily.
Today was the anniversary of Mr. Fukushi's death from acute leukemia. Mrs. Fukushi took lilies to the temple and was delighted I brought an apple. She had been too busy to buy one but her husband loves apples. She says she has been walking towards him for nineteen years.
She says she will read Ico. She says for the sake of the children in the future we should use nature to generate power, not nuclear fission. She doesn't want the children to get leukemia.
On the bus home a boy was reading manga barefoot. Sufjan Stevens filled up my heart and I watched the fields of vegetables pass in the warm light with emotion, lilies wrapped in paper on my lap.
Tarezo had a good atmosphere.
The kids were comfortable with me today.
